Stable Cottage was the original stables that went with the village forge which is opposite, it has been renovated and converted to a very high standard providing comfortable accommodation. It has a well proportioned sitting room with a small kitchen and full size bedroom and bathroom en-suite. It also has a off road parking space for one car. There is an area behind the cottage for bike storage. There are lovely views of the River Avon and walking distance to the village pub.
The space
Enford allows unparalled access to Salisbury Plain with all the benefits it brings if you like cycling and dog walking. There is a golf course within 4 miles at Upavon, and Salisbury and Marlborough are both 12 miles away.
10 minutes west is the Ancient Monument of Stonehenge a world heritage site and Avebury Stones and Bowood House beyond. Salisbury and Winchester Cathedrals are not far and both offer an incredible insight into the history of our country. Tours to any of the local sights can be arranged locally with a delicious lunch included.
